The invention provides a formulation fortransmucosal administration of at least one activeingredient from the setron family, the formulationcomprising said active ingredient in base form and/or insalt form, a hydroalcoholic solution titrating at least30° alcohol, and optionally a pH correcting agent, saidactive principle being present in the state of stable andcomplete dissolution in the hydroalcoholic solution. Theinvention also provides a method of preparing thisformulation and its use for the treatment and preventionof major nausea and/or vomiting syndromes, and also forthe treatment and prevention of digestive spasms.
