PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infusion pump capable of coping with the case when an infusion at high flow rate is needed.SOLUTION: An infusion pump includes a dropping sensor 8 detecting a droplet dropping inside a drip tube 100 disposed on the upstream side of an infusion feeding direction of a pump mechanism 2, and can set a high flow rate mode to feed a liquid at higher flow rate than a flow rate capable of guaranteeing accuracy of flow rate determination based on output of the dropping sensor 8. Accordingly, when an infusion at a high flow rate is needed, the infusion pump can cope with such the case. Further, when the high flow rate mode is set, the infusion pump performs processing ( processing to stop the flow rate determination or flow rate determination processing in a low accuracy determination mode) different from processing in a normal use flow rate range about the flow rate determination, and notifies the effect of performing such processing. Accordingly, when setting the high flow rate, the infusion pump can notify a user such as a nurse that the processing different from normal time is performed about the flow rate determination.
