The present invention relates to a preserving solution for oral epithelium cells and a manufacturing method thereof and, more specifically, to a preserving solution for oral epithelium cells capable of maintaining a morphological structure by minimizing protein denaturalization in cytoplasm and cell membranes of oral epithelium cells and preserving cell morphology close to the original morphology for a long period of time by preventing dryness and decomposition of cells, and to a manufacturing method thereof. The preserving solution for oral epithelium cells of the present invention contains 2 to 10 parts by weight of a buffer solution and 5 to 15 parts by weight of a preservative with respect to 100 parts by weight of distilled water. The preservative comprises a thymol solution in which thymol is dissolved in alcohol.본 발명은 구강상피세포 보존액과 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 구강상피세포의 세포질과 세포막에 존재하는 단백질 변성을 최소화하여 형태학적 구조를 유지하면서 세포의 건조 및 부패를 방지하여 세포형태를 원래의 형태에 가깝게 장기간 보존이 가능한 구강상피세포 보존액과 이의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 구강상피세포 보존액은 증류수 100중량부에 대하여 완충액 2 내지 10중량부와, 방부제 5 내지 15중량부를 함유하고, 상기 방부제는 티몰(thymol)을 알코올에 용해시킨 티몰액을 포함한다.
