The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a novel adsorbent in which the adsorption performance with respect to aldehyde-based malodorous substances and the aforementioned adsorption performance after a long period are excellent, any decrease in the adsorption performance due to regeneration is minimized, and excellent heat resistance is exhibited a filter in which the adsorbent is used a method for manufacturing the adsorbent and a malodorous substance adsorption method in which the adsorbent is used.
