PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a tablet for UV laser printing in which excellently identifiable printing can be performed on the surface of the tablet in order to reduce the risk of malpractice in medical practice.SOLUTION: An uncoated tablet containing a medical drug is heated, the tablet is coated with a low melting point substance in a powder state and discoloration inducing oxide to manufacture a tablet for UV laser printing. One or more mixture selected from the group consisting of carnauba wax, Lubriwax, polyethylene glycol, sucrose fatty acid ester, and glycerol fatty acid ester is preferable as the low melting point substance, and titanium oxide, yellow iron sesquioxide or iron sesquioxide is preferable as the discoloration inducing oxide.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】医療現場における医療過誤のリスクを低減するため、その表面に識別性に優れた印字が可能なUVレーザー印刷用錠剤の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】医薬を含有する素錠を加熱し、これに粉末状の低融点物質と変色誘起酸化物を被覆してUVレーザー印刷用錠剤を製造する。その低融点物質としてはカルナバワックス、ラブリーワックス、ポリエチレングリコール、ショ糖脂肪酸エステル及びグリセリン脂肪酸エステルからなる群から選ばれた1種又は2種以上の混合物が好ましく、変色誘起酸化物としては酸化チタン、黄色三二酸化鉄又は三二酸化鉄が好ましい。【選択図】なし
