PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote monitoring system capable of notifying a manager of agricultural greenhouses of useful information regarding management of an air-conditioning state even when communication line abnormality or measurement abnormality occurs.SOLUTION: A remote monitoring system 1 of the present invention comprises: a room temperature sensor (room temperature measuring instrument) 12a provided in each of a plurality of agricultural greenhouses 2A,2B,...； and a remote management server (remote monitoring device) 30. In the remote management server 30, when a detection part 32a detects any one of abnormality of a communication line and abnormality of measurement in a first agricultural greenhouse 2A out of the plurality of agricultural greenhouses 2A,2B,..., a notifying part 32d notifies a manager of the first agricultural greenhouse 2A of a room temperature of a second agricultural greenhouse 2B being another agricultural greenhouse out of the plurality of agricultural greenhouse 2A,2B,... as relevant information.【課題】通信回線異常や測定異常が発生した場合であっても、空調状態の管理についての有用な情報を、農業ハウスの管理者に通知可能な遠隔監視システムを提供することにある。【解決手段】本発明の遠隔監視システム１では、複数の農業ハウス２Ａ，２Ｂ，・・・にそれぞれ設けられる室温センサ（室温測定器）１２ａと、遠隔管理サーバ（遠隔監視装置）３０とを備える。遠隔管理サーバ３０では、検出部３２ａによって、複数の農業ハウス２Ａ，２Ｂ，・・・のうちの第１の農業ハウス２Ａにおいて、通信回線異常および測定異常のいずれかが検出されると、通知部３２ｄが、複数の農業ハウス２Ａ，２Ｂ，・・・のうちの他の農業ハウスである第２の農業ハウス２Ｂの室温を、第１の農業ハウス２Ａの管理者に対して、関連情報として通知する。【選択図】図１
