To provide a folding wheelchair designed not to pinch a finger between a side frame and a seat frame when opening the folding wheelchair.
SOLUTION: The folding wheelchair is provided with a hand guard 19 made of cloth and stretched between the seat frame and an upper frame of the folding wheelchair. The hand guard 19 is stretched between the seat frame and the upper frame and a step belt is further attached to the rear end of the seat frame to solve a problem of a finger pinch between the seat frame and the side frame.
