PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for the stabilization of S-adenosylmethionine and salt thereof.SOLUTION: A composition comprises (A) S-adenosylmethionine and/or salt thereof, (B) ultrapolyphosphoric acid in which the molar ratio (R) of (M2O+H2O)/P2O5 is 1>R>0, and/or salt thereof (where M represents a univalent metal atom), and (C) polyvalent metal salt.
