The present invention relates to a method for quantifying plasma amyloid beta (A) by treating MPP and/or TCEP to plasma. The present invention further relates to a method for diagnosing accumulation of A and reduction in cognitive function in a clinical and pathological way. According to the present invention, based on a cut-off values measured by the A quantification method, it is possible to determine accumulation of A in brain as well as a normal person, MCI, and AD, and prediction on the progress into AD can be made as well.본 발명은 혈장에 MPP 및/또는 TCEP을 처리함으로써 혈장 내 Aβ를 정량 하는 방법 및 이를 통한 임상학적 인지능력 저하 및 병리학적 Aβ 축적 여부를 진단하는 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 Aβ 정량 방법으로 측정한 측정값들의 cut-off 값을 통하여 정상인, MCI 및 AD와 뇌에서의 Aβ 축적 여부를 판별할 수 있고, AD로의 진행을 예측할 수 있다.
