PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organism information detector capable of surely making an electrode closely adhere to the surface of an organism so as to improve the detection accuracy even in the configuration where the electrode is coated with a rubber belt.SOLUTION: A heartbeat measuring device 1 includes: a heartbeat detecting part 3 having a pair of electrodes 31 a body part 2 for detecting heartbeat information on the basis of a potential difference caused between the pair of electrodes 31 and a rubber belt 4 for at least partially coating the heartbeat detecting part 3 and the body part 2 to integrate the heartbeat detecting part 3 with the body part 2, and the rubber belt 4 is applied to the chest C of a user to detect the cardiac rate.
