The present invention relates to a method for producing a polyploid plant comprising a step for preparing a double homozygous mutant plant of kinesin-12A and kinesin-12B genes by crossing a kinesin-12A mutant plant with a kinesin-12B mutant plant, the polyploid plant produced thereby, and seeds of the plant. The present invention proposes a new method for breeding a potentially valuable polypolid plant by the double homozygous mutant plant of kinesin-12A and kinesin-12B genes.본 발명은 키네신-12A 유전자 돌연변이 식물체와 키네신-12B 유전자 돌연변이 식물체를 교배하여 키네신-12A 및 키네신-12B 유전자의 이중 동형접합 돌연변이 식물체(double homozygous mutant)를 제조하는 단계를 포함하는 배수성 식물체의 제조 방법 및 상기 제조 방법에 의해 제조된 배수성 식물체 및 그의 종자에 관한 것으로, 본 발명은 키네신-12A 및 키네신-12B 유전자의 이중 동형접합 돌연변이 식물체를 통해 잠재적인 가치가 큰 배수성 식물을 육종하는 새로운 방법을 제시한다.
