(R13 SiO1/2) a, (R22 SiO2/2) b, (R3 SiO3/2) c and (SiO4/2) the d unit (however, R3 at least 40 mols % is propyl) the MQ-T propyl polysiloxane resin which is included is disclosed. In addition, it discloses also the method of manufacturing this polysiloxane resin by reacting the MQ polysiloxane resin with the T propyl polysiloxane resin. These polysiloxane resin especially in the various application uses of personal CARE and household appliances CARE and medical application CARE, it is useful as the resin additive in make-up charge combination ones of pigment content.(R13SiO1/2)a、(R22SiO2/2)b、(R3SiO3/2)c及び(SiO4/2)d単位(ただし、R3基の少なくとも40モル%はプロピルであるものとする)を含むMQ-Tプロピルシロキサン樹脂を開示する。また、MQシロキサン樹脂をTプロピルシロキサン樹脂と反応させることにより、かかるシロキサン樹脂を調製する方法も開示する。これらのシロキサン樹脂は、パーソナルケアや、家庭用品ケア及び医療用ケアの種々の適用用途において、特に、顔料含有の化粧料配合物における樹脂添加剤として有用である。
