PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply structured endoscope apparatus having a bending section with excellent assembly workability and credible bending operability at the distal end of an insertion section.
SOLUTION: The endoscope apparatus 10 carries out observation by inserting the long insertion section into an object to be observed. The long insertion section has the bending section 10 actuated by fluid pressure near the distal end where an observation means is installed. The bending section 10 comprises a plurality of tube members 20 having blocked distal ends and proximal ends connected to a supply source of pressurized liquid and a front flange 30 and a rear flange for fixing and holding at least both of the distal and proximal ends of the tube members 20. The plurality of tube members are expanded and extended in response to the pressure of the pressurized liquid.
