The present invention relates to a method and a system for providing diagnosis aid information which use a medical image to diagnose cancer or the like of a patient. According to the present invention, the system for providing diagnosis aid information comprises: an image receiving unit to receive a medical image photographed in a first energy band and a medical image photographed in a second energy band； and a analysis and diagnosis aid information providing unit to analyze the medical image photographed in the first energy band and the medical image photographed in the second energy band to provide calculated diagnosis aid information. The analysis and diagnosis aid information providing unit calculates values corresponding to radiation absorption degrees in the medical image photographed in the first energy band and the medical image photographed in the second energy band, and compares the values corresponding to the radiation absorption degrees in areas corresponding to the images to provide the diagnosis aid information.본 발명은 의료영상을 이용하여 환자의 암 등을 진단할 수 있는 진단 보조 정보 제공 방법 및 시스템에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 진단 보조 정보 제공 방법 및 시스템은 제1 에너지 대역에서 촬영된 의료영상과 제2 에너지 대역에서 촬영된 의료영상을 수신하는 영상 수신부 및 상기 제1 에너지 대역에서 촬영된 의료영상과 제2 에너지 대역에서 촬영된 의료영상을 분석하여 산출된 진단 보조 정보를 제공하는 분석 및 진단 보조 정보 제공부를 포함하되, 상기 분석 및 진단 보조 정보 제공부는 상기 제1 에너지 대역에서 촬영된 의료영상 및 상기 제2 에너지 대역에서 촬영된 의료영상에서 각각 방사선 흡수 정도에 대응되는 값을 산출하고, 각 영상에서 대응되는 영역의 상기 방사선 흡수 정도에 대응되는 값을 비교하여 진단 보조 정보를 제공한다.
