PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanting machine in which a suppression position of a field by a press wheel can easily be changed in conformity to the size of a seedling and the soil of the field.SOLUTION: A suppression device 15 for pressing and leveling the soil around a planted seedling is configured by: providing a suppression frame 210 in a freely turning manner providing left and right position adjusting stays 230 to the suppression frame 210 providing an angle adjustment stay 240 to the left and right position adjusting stays 230 in the left and right moving manner providing a suppression support stay 250 to the angle adjustment stay 240 in an angle adjusting manner, respectively and providing suppression wheels 220 to the suppression support stay 250. A lateral direction long hole 231 is formed in the left and right position adjusting stays 230. The left and right angle adjustment stays 240 are configured along long holes 231 in the left and right moving manner, and an angle adjustment long hole 241 on the circular arc is formed to the angle adjustment stays 240.
