A plant container 1 comprises a base 2 and a wall 5 connected to the base to define a containment region 4, the wall 5 comprising a first wall panel 3 and a second wall panel 5 that is positioned adjacent to the first wall panel 3 to define a space 6 between them. The container 1 further comprises a lid 8 to at least partially cover the containment region 4. The lid 8 includes at least one opening 9 through which plants contained in the containment region 4 can extend.
