A turf-care tool 10 for spiking, aerating and seed slotting earth having grass sown thereon, comprises a base-plate element 12 having major upper and lower surfaces 20 the upper surface being dimensioned for stably receiving two feet of a user standing thereon, and a plurality of tine-receiving apertures formed in offset rows across the base-plate element. A plurality of rows of tine elements 34 is also provided, each tine element including an elongate rail 36 and a plurality of spaced-apart tines 14 extending from the rail. The tines project from the lower surface of the base-plate clement in an offset manner, and the rails form a sole-grip 50a and/or boot scraper 50b on the upper surface of the base-plate element. Also disclosed is a tool with rows of flat tine elements.
