PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply subject medical waste to high temperature heat treatment or melting treatment in medical facilities (on the spot).SOLUTION: The medical waste heat treatment apparatus 1 is constituted of a heating oven part 2, a transport part 3 and an adaptor 4. A syringe A, which is constituted so that the needlelike member thereof is inserted into the insertion port 4a of the adaptor 4 and the solid part 41 of the adaptor 4 is fitted to the fitting cylinder member 312b of a member 31 to be transported to be held to the transport part 3, is transported toward an obliquely upward region 217 to be heated from below by the transport drive part 32 of the transport part 3 and successively subjected to high temperature heat treatment or melting treatment over a range from the part reaching the region 217 to be heated to a part of the needlelike member and the adaptor 4 by heating the region 217 to be heated to a target temperature by the oval surface mirrors 211 and 212 and infrared lamps 221 and 222 of the heating oven part 2 and classified at every material to be discarded.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】医療廃棄物を医療施設(その場)にて簡便に高温加熱処理又は溶融処理する。【解決手段】加熱炉部2と、運搬部3と、アダプター4とから医療廃棄物加熱処理装置1を構成し、針状部材をアダプター4の挿入口4aに挿入し、このアダプター4の中実部41を被運搬体31の嵌合筒部材312bに嵌合させて運搬部3に保持した注射器Aを、運搬部3の運搬駆動部32によって下方から斜め上方の被加熱領域217へ向けて運搬するとともに、加熱炉部2の楕円面鏡211,212および赤外線ランプ221,222によって被加熱領域217を目標温度まで上昇させることにより、注射器Aを被加熱領域217に到達した部分から順次、針状部材およびアダプター4の一部まで高温加熱処理又は溶融処理し、素材ごとに分別して廃棄する。【選択図】図5
