PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplanting device enabling a seedling grown in a seedling panel to be inserted into a pot of a growing panel to an appropriate depth. SOLUTION: This transplanting device for transplanting a seedling from a seedling panel onto a growing panel 4 through chucking a sponge part 15 at the root of the seedling with a finger 13 is so designed as to be mounted with a seedling pressing member 23 on a chucking unit 6 of this device in a vertically movable manner, wherein the seedling pressing member 23 is intended for pressing the seedling into a pot of the growing panel 4 and may be of bar shape to be inserted into the center of the seedling or of bifurcated shape to press both sides of the seedling.
