Emulsion type cosmetic composition comprises: an aqueous phase； particles including a hard wax, preferably an aqueous dispersion of particles of hard wax having a melting temperature of >；= 60[deg] C； and an emulsifying system that is adapted to disperse wax and comprises an anionic surfactant having a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance, at 25[deg] C, of >；= 8 and comprising alkyl phosphate and nonionic surfactant having a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance, at 25[deg] C, of >；= 8 and comprising 8-24C fatty alcohol ethers and polyethylene glycol having 1-10 units of ethyleneglycol. The amount of hard wax is >；= 10 wt.%.
