PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for removing the biofilm in the respiratory tract useful for treatment of infections such as pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma pneumoniae.SOLUTION: The composition includes (1) at least one enzyme that can hydrolyze the link between two monosaccharides in a polysaccharide, or the link connecting protein molecule and monosaccharide in a glycoprotein, in an amount sufficient to destroy the biofilm in the respiration tract； and (2) a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier suitable for administration to the tract. Further, the composition may contain a component such as steroid, lysozyme, lactoferrin, or peroxidase. When peroxidase is contained, the composition may further include oxidase for generating peroxide and a substrate for oxidase. The composition can be used for a method for treating an infection on the basis of the ability of the composition to dissolve the biofilm in the respiration tract.【課題】肺炎マイコプラズマにより引き起こされる肺炎などの感染の治療にとって有用である、気道中の生物膜の除去のための組成物の提供。【解決手段】組成物は、(1)多糖類中の2個の単糖類を接続するか、または糖タンパク質中のタンパク質分子と単糖類を接続する結合の加水分解を触媒する、気道中の生物膜を破壊するのに十分な一定量の少なくとも1種の酵素；ならびに(2)気道への投与にとって好適な製薬上許容し得る担体を含む。さらに、ステロイド、リゾチーム、ラクトフェリン、もしくはペルオキシダーゼなどの成分を含んでもよい；ペルオキシダーゼが含まれる場合、さらに、過酸化物を生成するオキシダーゼならびにオキシダーゼのための基質を含んでもよい。前記組成物を、気道中の生物膜を溶解する該組成物の能力に基づく感染の治療のための方法において用いることができる。【選択図】なし
