PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical instrument for lifting, the instrument that is used for inserting thread without cog for removal of wrinkles into skin.SOLUTION: A surgical instrument comprises a sheath comprising: a probe part 111 comprising a pipe-shape where a through-hole penetrated along a longitudinal direction is formed inside, and having a distal end of one side capable of being inserted in skin and a main body extended from the rear end of the other side of the probe part, having the diameter larger than the diameter of the through-hole of the probe part, being brought into communication with the inside of the through-hole, and having a sheath hole where a needle 130 can be inserted. In the inner face of the probe part, a direction guide part projecting from the inner face of the probe part into the through-hole is provided.
