PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray imaging apparatus which can reduce an exposure dose on a subject without forcing the subject to be uselessly exposed upon determining an imaging position.SOLUTION: This X-ray imaging apparatus can take X-ray images at various positions in response to various positions or postures that a bed or a top plate and a C-arm can take. Conversely in this invention, positions or postures of the bed, the C-arm, etc. can be automatically set based on information obtained from X-ray images taken at various imaging positions. Here, "information obtained from X-ray images" corresponds to a coordinates value in a real space of a site relating to a designated input obtained by the designated input for a region of interest in the X-ray image. In that case, the automatic setting is carried out for a purpose of moving and positioning the C-arm, etc. so that the region of interest is projected on the center of an X-ray detector.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】撮影位置を定めるに際して、被検体に対し無用な被曝を強いることなく、その被曝量を低減することの可能なX線画像撮影装置を提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係るX線画像撮影装置は、寝台ないし天板及びCアームがとりうる種々の位置ないし姿勢に応じた種々の撮影位置にてX線画像を撮影することが可能である。そして、本発明においては逆に、この種々の撮影位置にて撮影されたX線画像から得られる情報に基づいて、前記寝台及びCアーム等の位置ないし姿勢を自動的に設定することが可能である。ここに、「X線画像から得られる情報」とは、例えば当該X線画像中の注目部位に対する指定入力により取得される、該指定入力に係る部位の実空間上の座標値が該当する。この場合において、前記自動的な設定は、前記座標値を利用し、前記注目部位がX線検出器の中心に投影されるようにCアーム等を移動・位置決めする目的をもって行われる。【選択図】図9
