PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to prevent visual attention from being directed to the area other than the area of interest when displaying radiographic images while switching the same because shapes of images included in each of a plurality of radiographic images are different.SOLUTION: An image (image B) of the past is obtained by applying petitioning processing for extracting the positional information relating to a mamma image NGA using an image (image A) of the present as a reference image and petitioning the position of a mamma image NGB of an image (image B) of the past. The brightness information of the reference image is extracted, the brightness value of the image (image B") of the past is adjusted based on the brightness information, thereby an image (image B") of the past is obtained. A region not including the mamma image (NGA) is extracted as an region without interest from the image (A) of the present, mask processing is carried out to the region without interest of the image (B") of the past, and an image (B") of the past having a mask image 94 is obtained.
