PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent having a novel structure which can achieve characteristics required for the stent at a higher degree.SOLUTION: In a stent 10 provided with a cylindrical skeleton 16 which is deformable to expand/contract in a radial direction, the skeleton 16 has a core layer formed of a biodegradable material and has a core degradation controlling layer which is formed of a biodegradable material and is laminated on a surface of the core layer in the skeleton 16, or the skeleton is provided with a self-expansion region deformed into a shape preset by super-elasticity and has an excessive deformation region which is deformable more greatly than the self-expansion region in a part departing from the self-expansion region in an axial direction in the skeleton.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】ステントに要求される特性をより高度に実現し得る、新規な構造のステントを提供する。【解決手段】径方向で拡縮変形可能な筒状の骨格16を備えるステント10であって、骨格16が生分解性材料で形成されたコア層を有すると共に、骨格16におけるコア層の表面には生分解性材料で形成されたコア分解制御層が積層されている、或いは、骨格が超弾性によって予め設定された形状に変形する自己拡張領域を備えると共に、骨格における自己拡張領域を軸方向に外れた部分が、自己拡張領域よりも大きく変形可能とされた過変形領域とされている。【選択図】図1
