PURPOSE: An obturator for a tracheostomy tube is provided to close a tracheotomy tube to train speech, swallowing, and vocalization of a patient.CONSTITUTION: An obturator for a tracheostomy tube comprises an insert(100) and a closing terminal(200). The insert is inserted into a tracheotomy tube. The closing terminal is extended to the insert. The insert and closing terminal are made of a material with elastic restoring force. The external diameter of the insert is larger than that of the tracheotomy tube. In the connection part of the insert and closing terminal, an insertion groove is formed.
