PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper constructed to visually urge a wearer to wear by tearing it along an easily slashing line previously formed on a fastening sheet.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper includes a fastening sheet in which at least two upper and lower stage projecting parts 12 projected outward from a base material sheet 8 is formed on the base material sheet formed to project outward on both sides of a back side, and fastening means including a pressure sensitive adhesive layer or a hook-and-loop fastener element is provided on the inside surface of the projecting part. With the base material sheet separated into upper and lower sides at a position between the upper and lower projecting parts, the two upper and lower projecting parts are fastened to the outer surface of the abdominal side of a paper diaper through the fastening means.
