The present invention relates to a wheelchair lifting device which can normally be used as stairs and which is capable of safely lifting a wheelchair to the floor of a bus where seats are positioned when the disabled or elderly board the bus. For the purpose of the present invention, the wheelchair lifting device comprises masts, each of which includes a hydraulic cylinder and is positioned to face each other at both sides of the rear part of a bus entrance door； an elevating foothold connected to piston rods of the hydraulic cylinders of the masts and elevated up and down by an elevating means； a supplementary foothold installed to be rotated by a rotating means in the upper part of the elevating foothold； and a control unit which controls the operation of the elevating means and the rotating means so that the elevating foothold interlocks with the supplementary foothold.본 발명은 평상시에는 계단으로 이용할 수 있으면서도 장애인이나 노약자 탑승시에는 휠체어 등을 안전하게 좌석이 설치된 버스 바닥면까지 탑승시킬 수 있는 휠체어 리프트 장치를 제공한다. 이를 위해, 본 발명은 버스 출입문 후측에 양측으로 대향되게 배치되고 유압 실린더가 내장된 마스트, 상기 마스트 내의 유압 실린더의 피스톤 로드와 연결되어 승하강 수단에 의해 상승 또는 하강하는 승강 발판, 상기 승강 발판 상측부에 회동 수단에 의해 회동가능하게 설치되는 보조 발판, 및 상기 승하강 수단과 회동 수단의 작동을 제어하여 상기 승강 발판과 보조 발판이 연동되도록 제어하는 제어부를 포함한다.
