PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic device and an ultrasonic image construction method that enable ultrasonic image construction in a non-contact manner.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic device 1 includes a converging-type ultrasonic transducer array 50 arranged at a position away from a body surface of a person 6 to be examined for generating a converging ultrasonic wave as a primary sound source, and a delayed time pattern generation part 16 for forming a secondary sound source for controlling the converging ultrasonic wave irradiated by the converging-type ultrasonic transducer array 50 so as to have a converging point on the body surface of the person 6 to be examined or just below it.
