PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental implant capable of securely preventing elution of metal when the dental implant is applied inside the oral cavity, and securely preventing inappropriateness (looseness or the like) when the dental implant is attached, and to provide a method of manufacturing the dental implant.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the dental implant includes: a step of obtaining a titanium compact by forming a titanium compact-forming composition including powder made of a titanium alloy and a biding material a step of obtaining an assembly body by assembling a ceramic member made of alumina and the titanium compact a step of making degreased titanium from the titanium compact by degreasing the assembly body and a step of fixing the degreased titanium as a titanium member to the ceramic member by subjecting the degreased titanium to the sintering treatment.
