A wrapping mechanism is described that comprises at least two material support cylinders (310), a mechanism support cylinder (320), and a first and a second support plate (330), which are all rotatable about a support axis (340). The wrapping mechanism can comprise a drive mechanism (373), a brake system (360), a lock mechanism (370), at least one feed roller and a feed plate. The wrapping mechanism can be integrated into an agricultural harvester such as a baler or combine.
