PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a blood pressure value with a simple structure with a high degree of accuracy.SOLUTION: A sphygmomanometer 10a includes an arm band 12a and a body 16a. The arm band 12a includes a cylindrical housing 30, an airbag 32 provided inside the housing 30 for compressing an upper arm of a subject inserted in the inside, and a microphone 34. The microphone 34 is provided on the airbag 32 and detects oscillations by pressing the airbag against the upper arm of the subject while the airbag is pressurized by a pressurizing means 18.
