PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for a skin cleansing agent which exhibits an excellent cleansing and removing effect with respect to a specific sebum component secreted by a middle-aged or elderly person.SOLUTION: The composition for a skin cleansing agent contains (A) polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfate, (B) polyoxyethylene hardened castor oil, and (C) water. The mass content ratio of the (A) component to (B) component is 1:1 to 1:5.
