PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope which enables autoclave sterilization, which adapts to use of a washing machine, and which is a chemically-stabilized type.SOLUTION: Characteristically, a method of manufacturing an endoscope includes the steps of: inserting a window 11 into an opening 12 of a tube 10 permanently fixing the window 11 to the opening 12 of the tube 10 and electroplating the tube 10 in an area of the window 11 and around the window 11 with a precious metal 15.
