PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp form detection system and clamp form detector, capable of prompting a medical worker to perform predetermined operation with respect to a clamp.SOLUTION: A clamp form detection system comprises: a clamp form detector capable of being fitted to a clamp whose form is variable between a first form for making a tube be in an open state and a second form for making the tube be in a state closer to the closed state than the open state and an external notification device that acquires form information on the clamp from the clamp form detector and notifies the outside of the acquired form information as identification information capable of being identified.
