FIELD: food industry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for manufacture of expanded products of grain legumes raw material in feedstuff industry. The expander contains a body, a three-zone auger with a drive and a crown-shaped head. Additionally positioned inside the expander after the auger third zone (homogenisation zone) are two more zones: the decompression zone and the pre-matrix zone. The decompression zone represents two serially installed cams, displaced at 90° relative each other along the rotation axis, and two arming washers. The ratio of the coils thickness and pitch, the auger shaft diameter and profile within the pre-matrix zone ensures the product pressure stabilisation. Arranged in the upper part of the expander body, positioned after the auger decompression zone, is a hole with a nipple for partial degasification. Installed coaxial to the expander head is a hollow cylinder designed so that to enable horizontal movement for partial overlapping of the hole in the head side surface. Installed in grooves on the hollow cylinder outer surface are blades designed so that to enable their horizontal movement.EFFECT: invention usage will ensure extension of the expander technological capabilities with regard to grain legumes raw material processing for production of balanced feedstuffs as well as extension of manufactured products range.5 dwgИзобретение относится к оборудованию для производства экспандированных продуктов из зернобобового сырья в комбикормовой промышленности. Экспандер содержит корпус, трехзонный шнек с приводом и головку в виде короны.
