PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a household power control system and power instruction device that are capable of suppressing a total power use amount of an electric appliance and the like according to a user's setting or a request from the outside of a house.SOLUTION: A power instruction device comprising a use limit setter for power, an environment detection unit for collecting environmental data such as a living space's temperature, a control unit for individually controlling the environment detection unit and the use limit setter, and a display panel for displaying information on a power use amount of an electric appliance and the environmental data displays a display screen for displaying a first icon for instructing environmental information's display based on the environmental data and a second icon for instructing display of information on the electric appliance's operation state, on the display panel； and, when the first icon has been selected, makes display areas corresponding to a plurality of living spaces, respectively, displayed in a list state.
