PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire preventing damage to a wall of a vessel such as a blood vessel by making a distal end part easy to be bent, and preventing that a distal end part is left inside the blood vessel or the like even if the distal end part is cut off.SOLUTION: This guide wire 1A includes a coil body 7A having a curve portion 70 in a distal end part, the distal end of a core shaft 3 is positioned in the proximal end direction as compared to the curve portion 70 of the coil body 7A, and the core shaft 3 is disposed on the reverse side to a curve side of the curve portion 70 in the coil body 7A on the basis of a safe wire 5 firmly fixed to the core shaft 3. Accordingly, when the distal end part of the guide wire 1A has curved, the safe wire 5 is allowed to properly curve without being hindered by the core shaft 3, and the distal end part of the guide wire 1A flexibly bends even when abutting on the wall of the vessel such as a blood vessel to prevent the damage to the wall of the vessel such as the blood vessel.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】先端部が撓み易く、血管等の脈管の壁への損傷を防止できると共に、先端部分が分断しても該先端部分が血管等内に取り残されることを防止できるガイドワイヤを提供する。
