ABSTRACT A cattle and animal restraining chute device specifically constructed has four vertical uprights defining respective corners of a parallelepiped framework having a substantially angularly inclined rectangular top, a stable, fixed and flat bottom with side and end faces and size sufficient to enclose an animal such as a cow, buffalo and horse to be restrained. Restraining structures including the plurality of horizontal frame members are attached to and extend perpendicularly between corresponding vertical uprights at respective opposite side faces of the parallelepiped for restraining lateral movement of the animal out of the said chute device. Restraining structure is normally secured at the front and rear ends, by a manually releasable latch frame to the corresponding rear vertical uprights that define the other end face of said parallelepiped, so as to restrain backward movement of the animal but to pivot downwardly by gravity and under the weight of the animal when free to do so by release of the latch. These chutes have a general rectangular shape and dimensions sufficient to receive a large sized animal while standing. These chutes are made by means of sufficiently rigid steel profiles coated with aluminium to resist the forces exerted by the animal. The chute is further designed to accommodate a tall slender frame member including a U shaped provision at its top edge which is fixedly attached to one of the plurality of front vertical upright for removably fixing the IV fluids and medicines to be administered to the enclosed animal and an assisting rectangular tray affixed to one of the horizontal side frames for holding the medicines and medical equipments needed to examine the animal.
