Disclosed are carbonyl and amide containing compounds of formula (I) where s is 1, M is C(O) and r is 0. The rest of the substituents are as disclosed in the specification. An example of a compound of formula (I) is oxazole-5-carboxylic acid { 1-[1-benzyl-5-(4-fluoro-phenyl)-1H-[1,2,4]triazol-3-ylcarbamoyl]-1-methyl-ethyl} -amide. The compounds are useful in treating diseases mediated by DGAT1 such as obesity, type II diabetes and impaired glucose tolerance.
