To provide a combine harvester equipped with a rachis-branch treatment mechanism 61 facilitating the check and cleaning of the interior, the exchanging operation of parts and or the like.
SOLUTION: The combine harvester is equipped with the rachis-branch treatment mechanism 61 for treating tailings at the feed end side of a tailing-returning mechanism 60 for returning the threshed and separated tailings to a thresher 5 or a shaking separator 27. The rachis-branch treatment mechanism 61 is equipped with a rachis-branch treatment case 81 arranged along the upper sidewall 55b of the thresher 5 in a posture tilted in a front-high and rear-low state and a rachis-branch treatment cylinder 82 arranged in the rachis-branch treatment case 81. The rachis-branch treatment case 81 is constituted so that the rachis-branch treatment cylinder 82 may be surrounded by a fixed case 85 attached to the upper sidewall 55of a the thresher 5 and a movable case 86 openable and turnable around the tailing-returning mechanism 60.
