The invention comprises a method and a device for an integrated, decentrally managed energy supply within a small-scale network of cooperating customers and producers of green energy. The invention has for its object to contribute to the solution of two known global problems: 1) the problems concerning the extraction and use of fossil energy sources and 2) the problems concerning the surplus of animal manure in livestock-tight areas. The extraction of energy from manure and its utilization in a locally managed, relatively small-scale green energy supply system form the connecting theme. To this end, the invention comprises, inter alia, a method which provides for the use of struvite (MgNH 4 PO 4) and ammonia (NH 3) as energy carriers for the supply of usable energy, in combination with energy obtained from known green sources such as solar and wind energy. The invention also comprises a device which, inter alia, comprises a crystallizer for the production of struvite from manure originating from farms of farm animals or from rejection water originating from water purification installations.De uitvinding omvat een werkwijze en een inrichting voor een integrale, decentraal beheerde energievoorziening binnen een kleinschalig netwerk van samenwerkende afnemers en producenten van groene energie. De uitvinding beoogt een bijdrage te leveren aan de oplossing van twee bekende globale problemen: 1) de problematiek rondom de winning en het gebruik van fossiele energiebronnen en 2) de problematiek rondom de overschotten aan dierlijke mest in veedichte gebieden.
