PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute computer tomography with higher spatial resolution in the slice direction (the direction z) while restricting the exposure of a subject, using a multi-slice type X-ray computer tomography apparatus.SOLUTION: The rotary part of a scanning gantry is rotated around the subject to collect the projection data for a prescribed angle range, i.e., &pi+(fan angle) to 2&pi+(fan angle).
