PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial lung capable of surely preventing the outflow of air bubbles in blood from a blood outflow part.
SOLUTION: This artificial lung 1 includes: a heat exchanger part having a tubular heat exchange body 31 a tubular hollow fiber membrane bundle 3 that is formed by accumulating a plurality of hollow fiber membranes with a gas exchange function a filter member 6 that is provided in contact with the outer circumference part 17 of the tubular hollow fiber membrane bundle 3 and has a function of capturing the air bubbles a housing 2 that stores the heat exchanger part, the tubular hollow fiber membrane bundle 3 and the filter member 6 a gas inflow port 26 and a gas outflow port communicated with each other via a hollow portion of each hollow fiber membrane and a blood inflow port 24 and a blood outflow port 25 for blood circulation. This artificial lung 1 is configured that the blood flowing from the blood inflow port 24 passes the heat exchanger part, the tubular hollow fiber membrane bundle 3 and the filter member 6 in this order and discharged from the blood outflow port 25.
