PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite stretchable material which has a smaller thickness and a more uniform size of creases.SOLUTION: A composite stretchable material which can be extended and contracted in a first direction includes a first nonwoven fabric sheet portion and a second nonwoven fabric sheet portion which are laid on each other and a plurality of elastic members which are disposed between the first and second nonwoven fabric sheet portions. The elastic members extend in the first direction, while being separated from each other in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, and the first nonwoven fabric sheet portion and the second nonwoven fabric sheet portion are joined to each other by an adhesive applied to the elastic members. The thickness t of the composite stretchable material at the time when a pressure of 3 gf/cmis impressed thereon in the thickness direction in the condition of 50% extension, is 2.0 mm or less, and the root-mean-square height Pq of a cross-sectional curve in the condition of 50% extension is 0.4 mm or less.
