The present invention relates to a method for obtaining substantially pure hybrid cereal seed and a machine for use thereof. In particular the invention describes a method for separating hybrid barley seed from a mixed population of inbred barley seed and hybrid barley seed on the basis of a difference which is detectable via the use of near infrared light.La présente invention porte sur un procédé d'obtention de graine de céréale hybride sensiblement pure et sur une machine pour son utilisation.
