PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agricultural work machine suppressing hunting of a ground levelling device by stopping ground levelling height control of the ground levelling device during non-work time.SOLUTION: An agricultural work machine includes: rice field height detection means detecting rice field height as height from a prescribed portion of a ground work part to the rice field surface work state detection means detecting a work state of the ground work part and control means connecting these detection means to an input side while connecting vertical position adjustment means to an output side. When the work state of the ground work part is detected by the work state detection means, a ground levelling device is controlled for ground levelling height through the vertical position adjustment means based on a detection value detected by the rice field height detection means.
