PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling weeds having the large-sized strains of genus Andropogon and genus Paspalum, which comprises subjecting the weeds containing the large-sized stalks of the genus Andropogon and the genus Paspalum which are perennial gramineous weeds, to a physical weed control work using a machine, and then applying a herbicide, and by which the weeds having the large-sized stalks of the genus Andropogon and the genus Paspalum can accurately be controlled without giving a chemical damage to Japanese lawn grasses.SOLUTION: This method for controlling the weeds having the large-sized stalks of the genus Andropogon and the genus Paspalum comprises cutting the weed stalks of the genus Andropogon and the genus Paspalum growing in the lawn of Japanese lawn grasses and the aboveground portions of the Japanese lawn grasses, and then applying a granular agent or small granular agent containing a herbicide as an active ingredient to the whole surface of the lawn to control the weeds having the large-sized stalks of the genus Andropogon and the genus Paspalum.COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT【課題】 多年生イネ科雑草であるウシクサ属およびスズメノヒエ属の大型株を有する雑草に対し、機械を使用した物理的雑草防除後、除草剤を散布することにより、日本芝に対して薬害が無く、ウシクサ属およびスズメノヒエ属の大型株を有する雑草を的確に防除する方法を提供すること。【解決手段】 日本芝の芝生内にて生育しているウシクサ属およびスズメノヒエ属の雑草株、および日本芝の地上部を切除し、芝生全面に除草剤有効成分を含有する粒剤または細粒剤を散布し、ウシクサ属およびスズメノヒエ属の大型株を有する雑草を防除する方法。【選択図】 なし
