To provide an X-ray fluoroscope which avoids degradation in an image quality of an X-ray transparent image caused by a dose shortage of a transmitted X-ray image of a subject without increasing an exposed dose to the subject.
SOLUTION: In the device, when the shortage of the dose of the transmitted X-ray image of the subject M is detected by a dose shortage detection unit 16 in the condition that the X-ray of a maximum permissible dose is actually applied to the subject M during execution of X-ray fluoroscopy and a readout frame rate of a two-dimensional X-ray detector 2 for the detection of the transmitted X-ray image is pulled down by a frame rate pull-down unit 17 immediately. Since the two-dimensional X-ray detector 2 detects the transmitted X-ray image to extend hours for accumulation treatment and an X-ray detection signal for X-ray fluoroscopy has sufficient signal strength with the dose of the transmitted X-ray image remaining the same by the extension of hours of the accumulation treatment without increase of noise even when the dose of the transmitted X-ray image is short. As the result, even when the dose of the transmitted X-ray image is short and the X-ray transparent image with less noise can be obtained without increasing of the exposed dose.
