PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding handrail securing apparatus in a lifting/lowering device for a vehicle in which the securing is performed simply, reliably and at low cost.SOLUTION: The right and left handrails disposed on upper both sides of a platform set in a lifting/lowering device for a vehicle disposed on a floor surface facing an opening part of a vehicle are provided such that each base end is pivoted to longitudinal shafts of right and left brackets provided on the upper parts of right and left gate frames for lifting and lowering the platform, and is applied in the expansion use expanded in parallel to upper both sides of the platform and in the folding storage folded inward and with both tip sides overlapped. Also, one winding-securing band with a tip side provided at the winding-securing part is disposed in one handrail of the overlapped part, and a wound-secured band comprising a wound-secured band fixing part engaged and fixed to the winding-securing part of one winding-securing band on the peripheral surface is disposed in the other handrail.
